Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Daniel Grant, trading as PT with DG, collects, uses and protects personal information through ptwithdg.com and in connection with personal-training enquiries and services in Hampstead, Belsize Park and West Hampstead.
1. Information collected
Information may include your name, email address, telephone number, the service you are interested in, the content of your message, appointment details and any other information you choose to provide.
Please do not submit detailed medical records or sensitive health information through the initial enquiry form. The form is intended only for basic contact details, the type of training you are interested in and a brief outline of your goals. If health information is needed later, Daniel will request it separately and explain how it will be used and protected.
2. How the information is used
- To answer enquiries and arrange consultations.
- To take steps at your request before entering into a training agreement and to provide agreed services.
- To manage appointments, communications, records, safety and business administration.
- To comply with legal, accounting, insurance and safeguarding obligations where applicable.
- To protect the website and prevent spam, fraud or misuse.
Your information is not sold to advertisers. It is not used for unrelated email marketing unless you separately choose to receive it.
3. Service providers and external services
The website is hosted by Netlify, and contact-form submissions are processed and stored through Netlify Forms. Email, communications, booking, hosting, security and professional-service providers may process information only where needed to support the business.
The website also uses or links to third-party services such as Google Maps, Google-hosted fonts, Calendly, YouTube, Facebook and Amazon. When you load embedded content or follow an external link, that provider may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information and the page you visited. Their own privacy terms apply.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The website does not currently use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, advertising pixels or behavioural advertising cookies. Essential hosting, security or form-handling technologies may operate where necessary for the site to function. Embedded third-party content, particularly Google Maps, may use cookies or similar technologies under the provider's own policies.
5. Retention
Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, follow up, maintain appropriate business records and deal with legal or insurance requirements. Routine enquiries that do not become client relationships are normally deleted within 24 months. Client, payment and tax records may need to be kept for longer where the law requires it.
6. Security and international processing
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information. Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, the provider's contractual and legal safeguards apply. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your information, object to certain processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent where consent is relied upon. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
To exercise a right, email Daniel@PTwithDG.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, services or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page with its revision date.
